Avenida Ct

A glimpse into the project

Set within a quiet neighborhood, the Avenida Project transforms a cherished mid-century ranch home that has stayed in the same family since 1960. Now owned by the grandson of the original builder, the renovation honors the home’s legacy while expanding its scale and lifestyle for a new era.

What began as a 1,000-square-foot, three-bedroom, one-bath residence is being reimagined as a 2,000-square-foot main house with three bedrooms, two and a half baths, and a new two-car garage. The design maintains the timeless simplicity of the original ranch architecture while introducing mid-century modern warmth and subtle Southwestern influence through stucco finishes, exposed beams, and streamlined interior detailing.

A warm material palette—dark wood floors, natural wood cabinetry, white onyx counters, and Venus stone slabs—creates a calm, refined atmosphere. Chrome fixtures and plaster-integrated lighting allow the architecture to remain the focal point, emphasizing continuity and flow throughout the home.

The renovation also includes a new guest house, pool, outdoor kitchen, and full landscape design, extending the interior aesthetic to the surrounding environment. Avenida stands as a thoughtful balance between family heritage and modern livability—crafted to preserve memory while embracing the present.
